Richard represented the operator for the owners of three offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico in connection with the decommissioning and disposal of those platforms. The representation involved advice about the maritime legal aspects of the decommissioning, and included the negotiation of contracts for heavy lift and offshore towing vessels. The platforms were located in water depths up to 1,800 ft. The platforms were successfully decommissioned and disposed of without incident.
